To help those directly impacted by the mass shooting in Highland Park, the Highland Park Community Foundation has established a July 4th Highland Park Shooting Response Fund. All contributions to the Response Fund will go directly to victims and survivors or the organizations that support them. There really are no words to express the depth of our sorrow for what happened at our Independence Day Parade. Tragedy struck our families, our City, and our souls. Never have we needed the strength of community and neighbors more than now.

It is too soon to know what is needed, but once identified, the Highland Park Community Foundation will be there to assist. Neighbors need neighbors, and our community will band together.

That’s what makes Highland Park so great.
